Andean Adventures is located in the ancient city of Cusco, which is Peru's most important tourist attraction, and we have been offering and operating cultural, ecological and adventure travel in the Andean region and the Amazon basin since 1985.
National and International Awards:
Our hard work has been appreciated by our clients, as well as the tour operators and wholesalers who work with us, and has also been acknowledged by major national and international travel organizations.
Since 1998, Andean Adventures and its management have been honoured on several occasions by the Peruvian Vice-Ministry of Tourism with certificates, diplomas and trophies.

In 2005 Andean Adventures celebrated its 20th anniversary as a travel company, and was heralded as the oldest company in Cusco by the College of Professionals in Tourism of Peru (COLITUR).

In both 2004 and 2005 Andean Adventures was nominated as "Best Regional Adventure Travel of Cusco", awarded by The Regional Board of Directors of Industry and Tourism of Cusco (DRITINCI).

In 1999 and 2002 Andean Adventures was honoured with the trophy for Best Travel Agent and Tourism in Investment, awarded by The Regional Board of Directors of Industry and Tourism of Cusco DRITINCI.

In 1999, 2001 and 2002 the company’s manager Raul Medina received awards in acknowledgement of his outstanding work as a travel agent in adventure travel and ecotourism, from the College of Professionals in Tourism of Peru (COLITUR).

In 2000 and 2001 two of our tour guides were named Tour Guide of the Year by the Peruvian Vice-Ministry of Tourism.

In 2001 Andean Adventures was nominated for the World Quality Commitment (WQC) award.

In 2000 Andean Adventures was awarded a diploma for best tour operator, awarded by the Peruvian Association of Adventure and Ecotourism (APTAE).

ANDEAN ADVENTURES Contributions
Andean Adventures donates a percentage of its income to remote rural communities for the development of basic educational infrastructure and each year provides Christmas presents for the children of these neglected regions of Peru.
Our staff, guides and tour leaders

Our office staff is comprised of highly experienced professionals who are all university graduates trained in tourism.

Our guides are experienced and possess specialist knowledge in a number of fields. They all receive periodic training designed to maintain and improve their expertise.

Our trips are led by our own tour leaders, and we visit extraordinary places seldom seen by most travellers.
•
We offer personalized itineraries tailored to the needs of individuals or small groups.

We operate using our own vehicles in Cusco, Arequipa and as far north as Lima. Where we don’t have our own staff operating, we use specially chosen local staff who share the philosophy of our company.

For trekking, we possess first class camping equipment which is expertly handled by our staff, assuring you a comfortable and memorable trip. Our cooks prepare a wide variety of dishes to meet all requirements, from local to international food, as well as vegetarian and macrobiotic food. In addition, our camping assistants and auxiliary staff know the territory in which we will be trekking.

In the Manu Amazon forest, by special arrangement with the Peruvian government, we have a campsite in the Reserved Zone. In the Tambopata National Reserve we have a comfortable rainforest lodge with rooms with private bathrooms. The lodge is surrounded by a network of forest trails which is constantly being developed and expanded.

We are official operators of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu under the new guidelines implemented by the Peruvian government designed to manage the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary in an ecological manner and protect indigenous porters’ rights.

We can guarantee our prices because we operate all our own services, both in the jungle and in the Andes.

Our prices
All prices are subject to change without notice; we will reconfirm the price at time of booking. The prices do not cover delays and expenses caused by flight delays/cancellations.
Single supplements
Most hotels offer single rooms subject to space available. In our campsites single tents and in our lodge single rooms are available at extra cost.
