New plans and protocols for the “new normal”

We are preparing to welcome travelers once more to Peru

To our extended family,

In response to the current global health crisis, we have reviewed and improved our operating procedures. At Andean Adventures Peru, we have adopted new biosecurity protocols, guided by World Health Organization (WHO) and World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) recommendations. We are therefore proud to be able to feature the #SafeTravels tour operator stamp on our website.

As a family-owned, Cusco-based travel company, nothing is more important to us than the health and wellbeing of our extended family of employees, clients, travelers and the wider travel industry community. While the Covid-19 virus has caused unprecedented harm around the world, including in the coastal cities of our own country, Peru, here in the heart of the Andes we have been working diligently to keep everyone associated with our company safe. We have kept our office closed for almost one hundred days, while arranging for our staff to work from their homes and staying connected online with each other and our partner companies in Peru and overseas. Our loyal clients have been supportive, and have already told us they will be waiting to work with us once more as soon as our nation’s borders are reopened.

Soon, around the world citizens will emerge from their homes, families and friends will be reunited, and the lives of communities will be restored. At Andean Adventures Peru, we will be here to welcome travelers from across the globe to Peru, South America’s prime travel destination, just as we have been doing for the past 35 years.

Our staff is being trained extensively in new health protocols. In this evolving situation, we will continue to monitor updates from our government and international organizations, adjusting our protocols and plans where necessary. Despite all the changes the world has seen in recent months, the one thing that will never change is our commitment to you. As we reopen to the world, we will follow all local, national and international guidelines and regulations to ensure that travelers can enjoy peace of mind as they enjoy the wonders our country has to offer.

Feel free to contact us directly to learn more about how we will be working to introduce travelers to the wonders of Peru following the reopening of our borders.
